DALA FULL BIOGRAPHY: Professionally known as Mrs. Magdalene Gorap Dala. She is a Nigerian Gospel singer, songwriter and a performer. Born in Bauchistate, Northern Nigerian. she began her gospel music career in the year 2003 despite her Dad been reluctant at the beginning. She successfully recorded her first studio Album with her Dad’s full support.
DALA’S music has been described by BEEHIVE GOSSIPS CEO Josh Ghani (one of the well-known bloggers in the Northern Nigeria) as “a strong and upliftingy sound”. Her debut EP, HE MADE ME was released in 2013.
EARLY LIFE
DALA hails from the Jhar ethnic group in Tafawa Belewa LGA of Bauchi state, Nigeria. Born in WURO village and brought up in a mixed family of both believers and non-believers. DALA is happily married toMunidang Nuhu Gorap from the ethnic of Ngas in pankshin LGA of Plateau State who loves and supports her music.
During her childhood, life was not easy with her as she always falls sick. She was diagnosed with a virus(hepatitis) which was already damaging her liver. She was believed never to pass through the sickness but her firm believe and stand in GOD healed her and to the glory of GOD, there is no trace of liver problem in her life again.

ACCORDING TO DALA
‘I become a born again Christian in the year 2003 at ECWA Abubakar Tafawa Belewa housing estate when a strong message from the pastor was delivered to the congregation. I also developed passion for music as a child nurtured from a Christian family. However, I celebrate my birthdays on the 9th February of each year.
EDUCATION & WORK
DALA attended Wurno primary school. After graduation, she proceeded to Government Girls College (GGC) Bauchi where she obtained her SSCE. Her quest for education made her to secure admission at College of Education Azare where she obtained certificate in Business Education. She presently works with the Bank of Agriculture LTD

FAMILY INFLUENCE
It has not been easy for DALA to pursue her music career. Her dad was totally against it from the beginning and he refused to allow DALA to read music as a course of study in school. He also stopped her from joining and attending music group at church for some time. But God in his infinite mercy, grace and favor blessed her with destiny helpers. They include Amik Adams, Martins Ahmed, Jordan King and Whyte Coleman. God used them to make her first album a huge success. Before the completion of the project, her Dad came to realize that, music is her ministry and supported her in producing her debut studio album, HE MADE ME (2013).
